Description:Colonies grouped in small to large clumps on substrate surface. Mycelium immersed and superficial. Stroma none. Hyphopodia absent. Setae absent. Conidiophores macronematous, mononematous, erect, straight to flexuous, cylindrical, walls and septa thickened, brown, smooth or roughened towards the apex, when immature the apex is teminated by a thin-walled, globose cell, at maturity the apex becomes fertile. Conidiogenous cells holoblastic, polyblastic, discrete, forming a compact, branched head at the apex of the conidiophore, denticulate. Conidia ellipsoidal, smooth, aseptate, hyaline, strongly thickened at the apex and base.
